Dear Ninti Community,
As we step into this new year, I’m writing to you from Côte d’Ivoire, in West Africa, where I’ve spent a month and a half with my family and friends, including time in Guinea, to recharge and reconnect. This time has allowed me to slow down, reflect, and gain a deeper understanding of why we do what we do at Ninti. It has also given me a broader perspective on the challenges we face globally; millions of young girls unable to attend school due to a lack of investment in menstrual health and access to sanitary products.
To be honest, there were moments in 2024 when I questioned whether my co-founder Olga and I should continue. But then, there were the hundreds of messages I received at the end of the year words of gratitude, encouragement, and belief in our mission from both men and women. We survived 2024, and maybe, just maybe, we’ll make it through 2025 too.
This year, we are approaching things differently. No traditional resolutions, just clear and transparent intentions. Taking time for ourselves, for Ninti, and for the women we support.
What this means concretely:
- Do less, but better. Focus on projects that have a direct and lasting impact.
- Put intention at the heart of every action more then resolutions. Ensure every decision reflects our mission and values.
- Slow down to listen better. To our partners, our community, and the women we serve.
What this new year means to me:
Improving women’s health in the workplace is not just about addressing medical needs, it’s so much more. It’s about equipping women with the tools to take care of themselves: physically, mentally, and economically. It’s about creating spaces where they feel supported, heard, and fully empowered. This vision is what drives me forward this year.
- The power of small actions. A conversation, a smile, a shared idea—these small things have a big impact. It’s in these daily gestures that I find the motivation to keep innovating, collaborating, and dreaming bigger for Ninti.
- A community at the heart of it all. More than ever, I realize that our strength lies in you: our partners, our supporters, our united voices. Together, we’ve built programs that touch lives in diverse parts of the world, and this is only the beginning.
- The importance of slowing down to move forward. Amid ambitious goals and the constant pressure to do more, I remind myself that taking time to breathe, reflect, and celebrate small victories is essential. It’s in these pauses that the best ideas emerge.
What we will build together in 2025:
In an increasingly uncertain world, we believe 2025 should be a year of deepening our work with a focus on research and meaningful support. This includes:
- Advancing research on the link between women’s health and the economy, to guide our actions and inform our partners. We’ve started work with Inserm and Prof. Barul and are currently looking for someone to help us conduct a state-of-the-art review, as well as companies open to becoming pilot partners. If this interests you, please reach out.
- Strengthening practical support solutions. We can develop all the apps in the world, but what we’ve learned is that truly effective and robust tools require co-creation and experimentation. This takes time and resources. We’ll continue efforts like those we did with the Paris Psychology Center and our women’s mental health tool in development.
- Prioritizing collaborations with aligned companies and partners to amplify our impact. Without them, we couldn’t have generated the necessary resources to keep moving forward.
By adopting this more intentional approach, I believe we can not only touch more lives but do so in a way that is even more aligned with our values and ethical economic model.
An invitation to move forward together:
If this vision resonates with you, if you also believe it’s time to slow down to move forward, I invite you to join us. Ninti is not just an organization—it’s a community where every idea, action, and gesture matters. In 2025, we have the opportunity to do things differently, with greater impact.
With all my gratitude for what we’ve already achieved and my excitement for what we will build together,
You are CEOs, managers, employees, workers, HR professionals, disability advocates, diversity and inclusion leaders, legal experts, lawyers, policymakers, doctors, midwives, patients, members of the nonprofit sector… and we all share one common goal: supporting women’s health.
So, let’s go! Join us—we’ll be announcing an important date in March through this channel because 2025 is also about celebrating more.
Fatoumata
